On July 4-7, the Chinese Committee of Social Policy co-organized an international Forum of Social Policy together with Nankai University. The Conference has over 150 participants held in Nankai University with over 20 international scholars from EU, Asia (Japan and South Korea) and the leading scholars of Chinese social policy studies. In this event, the social innovation team of SI-DRIVE partner Zhejiang University (7 persons) attended this conference and made five presentations. Prof. Ka Lin give the keynote speech at this event with a topic of social innovation and social policy. Mr. Hao Zhu gave a speech on the issue of elderly care, and Mr. Longfei Yi talked about migration, social administration and social innovation in Hangzhou. In addition, Ms. Haoran Lv also presented a paper on aging society and social innovation and Prof. Peter Herrmann talked the issue on the change of European social policy. All these presentation refer to the issue of social innovation in some ways. In the post-conference lecture series, Prof. Ka Lin gave a two-hours lecture to the young scholars of social policy studies on social quality theory in relation to social innovation issues.
