The Realising Ambition partnership in the UK has recently published the first of its Programme Insights, a series of 12 short briefings sharing key learning from the programme. Realising Ambition is a £25m Big Lottery Fund programme supporting a number of organisations to replicate services aimed at preventing youth offending. The programme is managed by a consortium led by Catch22 in partnership with Dartington Social Research Unit, Substance and SI-DRIVE partner, The Young Foundation.
This first issue, entitled The Secret Life of Innovation: Replication, explores the topic of replication, defined as delivering a service into new geographical areas or to new or different audiences. It examines the links between replication and innovation, the reasons for replicating in children’s services and the stages involved. It can be read here: The Secret Life of Innovation: Replication
